Sculpting light: A panorama in 500 lamps

This book, written by Agata Toromanoff and published by Éditions de La Martinière, brings together 500 contemporary lamps that combine functionality and aesthetics, to give an overview of current trends and new technologies and innovative materials.
Luminaires are classified into three families: ambient lamps, to create a luminous and decorative atmosphere in a space; lighting lamps, which are intended to provide an amount of light adapted to the purpose of the place where they are installed; and finally, outdoor lights, which are a fast-growing field.

In this volume you will find several DESIGNHEURE collections:
The Panel 5x5 Mozaik, designed by Davide Oppizzi in the Ambient Lighting category.
The Chandelier 3 Grand Cargo, designed by Hervé Langlais, in the Lighting category.
The Kimono table and floor lamps, designed by Jette Scheib, also in the Lighting category.

A book to rediscover the importance of good lighting in our daily lives and its influence on our emotions.
