Hotel Hyatt Regency*****

The interior designer Lucien Oscar Ono, founder of Maison Numéro 20, designed and decorated the interiors of the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Düsseldorf, giving it the feel of a first-class voyage on a 1920s transatlantic liner.

DESIGNHEURE's challenge was to create a made-to-measure MOZAIK chandelier to adorn the circular coffer of the 5m diameter ceiling in the hotel entrance. The gold puzzle installation consists of 28 panels in total, with 56 customised shades in coppery tones. To create this bespoke installation, the ceiling brackets were also designed in a single piece and in a colour to match the gold patina ceiling.

The MOZAIK chandelier soars above the hotel lobby and, visible from afar, invites visitors to enter this elegant and luxurious lobby.
