Grand Hôtel Lévêque***

Paris - France

Located in one of the most typical pedestrian streets in the 7th arrondissement of Paris, the Grand Hôtel Lévêque*** attracts a foreign clientele looking for a French spirit and art of living. Architectural firm Nooor chose to combine tradition and modernity to recreate an atmosphere inspired by the France of Versailles, but in the style of Marie Antoinette.

Between each panel of the panoramic tapestry in the reception room on the ground floor, Solo Grand Fleur de Kaolin suspended wall lights in porcelain gently illuminate the room. These lights, created in collaboration with the French porcelain manufacturer Haviland, add a refined, intimate touch while representing a historic nod to French savoir-faire. The tapestry represents a watercolour by Carmontelle, the great 18th-century draughtsman, which has been oversized and published by La Maison Pierre Frey.
