Lighting for narrow corridors: how Kimono pendant lights transform passageways.
Being both long and narrow, corridors can quickly become purely functional throughways, as they can seem difficult to light without accentuating that ‘tunnel effect’. In this residential project, lighting is part of the interior design: it guides the flow of movement whilst giving this transitional space a distinct decorative identity.
The Kimono Grand and XL pendant lights punctuate the corridor with their graphic, generous silhouettes. Their coloured, textured linen shades add an extra touch of warmth and texture to the design. Suspended along the circulation axis, the light fittings catch the eye and create a visual rhythm that naturally guides the way.
Using two different sizes adds depth. The Kimono light fittings thus become key elements capable of transforming a passageway into a refined, warm and aesthetically pleasing space, without encroaching on the available floor or wall space.
