Axe Environnement

Axe Environnement commissioned Atelier Duo to redesign its reception area. The aim was to create a space that was more welcoming and better reflected the company’s identity, whilst incorporating four new offices without compromising the flow of traffic. The design is based on an interplay of volumes, transparency and timber materials, which defines the various spaces whilst preserving natural light.

To complement this new layout, three Grand Mobula pendant lights have been installed above the offices; they provide uniform and comfortable task lighting whilst creating a visual rhythm within the lobby space. Their graphic silhouette, inspired by the fluid movement of the mobula ray, contributes to the project’s contemporary identity and naturally catches the eye upon entry. Beyond their lighting function, the pendant lights help to define the workspaces within an open-plan layout, enhancing visual comfort for both staff and visitors.
