With its compact size, the wall lamp Grand Shield is ideal for dressing up headboards or adorning the walls of a living room or hallway. It diffuses beautiful indirect light in an original way, forming a halo of light around the lampshade to illuminate a surface. The practical electrical outlet is offset from the shade, so it can be installed vertically or horizontally. The wall lamp consists of a large-sized lampshade in diffused white fabric with gold borders, a gold textile cord, a finishing cone and a round wall bracket in black lacquered steel. The Shield collection is inspired by the shape of the Zulu African shield, and represents a symbol, protection and a highly graphic ornament.

Fascinated by the mystery and power of the Zulu people, Jette Scheib was inspired by the shape of the African shield. It is a symbol, a protection and an ornament. The striking image of this armour captures the imagination. The design of the shield marks the identity of a tribe and generates group cohesion. Shield's black and white graphics emphasise the straightness of Zulu shields.
