Les Enfants de Bacchus vinegar factory

Hautvillers - France

The architect Gaëlle Ducoisy designed the interior of the Vinaigrerie Les Enfants de Bacchus, coordinating the beige stone walls with light and black wood furniture. A 10 Grand Nuage chandelier in copper finish suspends above the tasting tables, contributing to the warm, authentic atmosphere of the space. The composition of the chandelier has been destructured to highlight the beautiful volume and to offset the fact that the electrical outlet was not central in the space. The Nuage chandelier enables the fixing points for the lampshades to be offset.

The modern furnishings in a historic building are an analogy of the vinegar factory's approach: a traditional artisanal production that takes a new approach by adding value to wines made from Champagne grapes that are destined to be destroyed at the end of the harvest.
