Vatel Academy
Marcy-l'Étoile
- France
The Gastronomy apprenticeship centre Vatel Academy has been given a makeover: based in the 12th-century Château de Lacroix-Laval, the reception area, the Arôme bar and several dining rooms are now adorned with a number of DESIGNHEURE luminaires.
The decoration of the property combines the historic and majestic dimensions of the place with a modern and comfortable layout that adopts the classic codes of a chateau: The Nuage collection, with its rounded triangular shades, reinterprets the historic shape of forged chandeliers but uses lighter materials such as fabric and its electric textile cords to give it an aerial line.
A 15 Grand Nuage chandelier in a yellow and gold finish hangs majestically over the reception area. The private lounges are adorned with 10 Grand Nuage chandeliers, complemented with Moyen Nuage suspended wall lights in bespoke white finishes with black borders, with gold and silver interiors.
The Arômes Bar is beautifully lit with numerous Moyen Nuage suspended wall lamps with metallic copper fabric shades and pinkish copper interiors. This standard finish provides a warm glow that perfectly complements the fabrics of the Nog chairs from Collinet.
