Paul Andreu architect's death

The Academy of Fine Arts announced the death of the architect Paul Andreu, Thursday, October 11, 2018, at the age of 80 years. Among its major achievements are twenty airports, including the emblematic Roissy-Charles de Gaulle, but also, Nice, Bordeaux, or Abu Dhabi, Jakarta and Cairo. In recent years, he had built a lot in China.

"What I'm looking for in any project is its internal coherence and intelligibility, but at the same time its relationship with the outside world. [...] Another driving idea of ​​my work is that every living building comes out incomplete from the hands of the architect and that it must be entrusted to the elements, the light, the wind, the water, so that it ends. The architect Hervé Langlais, also a designer of our Cargo and Nuage collections, participated in his projects at Roissy-Charles de Gaulle airport and the Beijing National Theater.
